PLUMA
Getting Involved
Connect Today
Getting involved with PLUMA at the University of Michigan is a rewarding experience for Latinx faculty, staff, researchers, and postdocs.
To join, individuals can click here to join the PLUMA listserv, an email group used by the community to share highlights, job opportunities and seek support. We also encourage members to attend PLUMA's events and meetings, which are regularly scheduled and open to all university community members interested in supporting Latinx initiatives. Prospective members can also connect with current PLUMA members or visit the organization's website to learn more about its mission, upcoming activities, and donation opportunities. Additionally, volunteering for committees, participating in mentorship programs, and contributing to cultural celebrations are ways to support and benefit from the vibrant community PLUMA fosters actively. By joining PLUMA, individuals enhance their professional and personal growth and contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for Latinx individuals at the university.
